Project Kolkata is a student-led overseas community involvement project which serves former sex-trafficked women and their children in India.

Due to Covid19, a group of medical students are collaborating with Singapore based NGO, Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT), which helps more than 25,000 women from low-income families to successfully gain employment and secure a better future. They conducted a health workshop for these women on these pertinent issues and provide them with basic knowledge on women’s health on topics like menstrual health, menopause, osteoporosis, sexually transmitted disease. There were 2 doctors from KKH Menopause Clinic who agreed to counsel and guide on the content and they have also agreed on being there for the actual event itself to answer the women’s questions.
