Hey y’all! Today I made Low Sodium French Fries which are actually 10mg Sodium per serving!!!
I also made my own secret and special 0mg “Seasoning Salt” for you guys! So let’s get started!
Seasoning Salt Recipe:
– 4 TSP Smoked Paprika
– 4 TSP Garlic Powder
– 4 TSP Onion Powder
– 2 TSP Mrs. Dash Steak Seasoning
– 3 TSP Black Pepper
– 2 TSP Herbox Chicken Powder Broth Powder
– 3 TSP Nutritional Yeast
Mix all together and store in a sealed container. It can last a long time, but, I don’t think it will last a long time! Please Don’t use the whole container on your fries… unless you want too! I used several pinches on my fries and shook’em around.
Fries Ingredients:
– 3 Russet Potatoes, Peeled and Sliced into fry shapes. 18mg Sodium per potato.
– 1 Vegetable Cooking Oil
– My Seasoning Salt
– Shallow Sauce/Frying Pan
– Spoon with Holes
How To:
Peel and cut your three potatoes into fry shapes. Make sure ll fries are in even sizes when cutting them so that they fry evenly together. Dry off the paper fries with a paper towel until no visible moisture is seen. Fill the pan about 1/2 full of oil. Heat the oil on medium/high heat depending on your stove top. Once oil is heated place half the batch of fries in the oil and fry until golden brown. Once golden brown fish the fries out with a spoon that has holes unto a plate or bowl lined with paper towels. While fries are still warm and have oil on them sprinkle seasoning salt on them and shake’m making sure they are all fully covered.
Repeat with next batch! Enjoy!
